Twelve Cup Goals Without Reply for PSG
There’s little value on offer there so a spread option will be better – with the +240 for PSG to win by three goals or more at +240 looking attractive (Asian Handicap -2.5).
This looks promising given the fact that PSG has scored 12 times in the competition’s four rounds without conceding a goal – coupled with the further fact that it has hit eight goals without reply in the previous two rounds.
Lille is the leader of Ligue 1 – and is three points clear of PSG with two fixtures remaining.
The critics have been aiming at PSG’S superstars since their bedraggled exit from the UCL against Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The defeat in England was followed last weekend by a 1-1 league draw at Rennes, increasing the pressure on Pochettino.
Significantly, it ended a run of four straight wins which had taken place since the hugely significant 1-0 home defeat by Lille on April 3.
Montpellier vs PSG Coupe de France Statistics
In a 2-0 second-leg defeat against City, PSG lost discipline and had forward Angel Di Maria sent off as they succumbed to two goals scored by Riyad Mahrez.
Already, they had lost the first leg 2-1 at home with a red card awarded to Idrissa Gueye.
In mitigation, they were without injured World Cup-winning striker Kylian Mbappe who did not get on from the bench. It is hoped he will be fit to face Montpellier.
But, even so, the exit was a huge disappointment following last season’s progress to the club’s first final, where they were beaten 1-0 by Bayern Munich.

Strasbourg Win Ends Poor Run
Montpellier was meanwhile a 3-2 winner away at Strasbourg last Sunday.
That was indeed welcome after a troubling run of three straight draws followed by two straight defeats in Ligue 1.

The team will put faith against PSG in its leading scorer, the Algerian striker Andy Delort, who has hit nine goals in Ligue1 this season.
Mbappe is PSG’s leading marksman with 37 strikes – four of them in the Coupe de France.
Certainly, Montpellier’s progress to the Coupe de France last four has been blessed by draws against teams from outside Ligue 1.
